Where are the products made?

All our products are manufactured in northern Portugal.

What materials do we use?

Our primary material is marble, as we specialise in natural stones. We offer a wide range of marble stones, and you can request a specific type if needed. We also use various woods (oak, walnut, ash, and ebony) and metals (steel, stainless steel, and brass).

Where are your headquarters and production facilities located?

Our headquarters and production facilities are based in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.

How long does it take for MAAMI HOME to respond to requests (catalogue, price list, price inquiries)? And for bespoke or customised requests?

MAAMI HOME typically responds within 1-5 business days for standard products and 5-10 days for customized products as we need to evaluate the changes and prepare the project. During holidays (August and December), responses may take longer.

Do you make customised pieces?

MAAMI HOME creates customised pieces upon request and after evaluation by our Design Team.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

MAAMI HOME does not have a minimum order requirement.

Can I choose any RAL colour?

We offer a wide range of finishes and materials. If you have a specific colour reference, we can check with our suppliers to meet your request.

Can I have different finishes?

Yes, you may request a special finish from our range.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Does MAAMI HOME offer free shipping?

Currently, MAAMI HOME offers free shipping on the items available in our e-shop for EU.

What packing materials does MAAMI HOME use?

To ensure the best quality and protection, all our bigger objects are packed using wood boxes and biodegradable paper pulp, while screws are added in paper bags to make the packaging 100% plastic free and recyclable. Our accessories are packed in recyclable cardboard boxes.

When will I receive my order?

MAAMI HOME lead times usually ranges from 6 to 10 weeks and 2-4 weeks for smaller items such as accessories.

Do you provide installation instructions?

Your package will include all the necessary instructions for setting up your object.

What is the difference between the “order date” and the “ship date”?

The order date is when you place your order. The ship date is when we start the shipping process by dispatching your order.

Can I change my shipping address after my order is dispatched?

Once your order is dispatched, you can try to change your shipping address by contacting the shipping company.

Will I receive all the items in my order at the same time?

We strive to send all items together if they are ordered together.

What happens if I am not on-site when the parcel arrives?

After dispatching your order, we will provide all the necessary details and ask for a contact person in case you are unavailable. This person will be contacted if you are not on-site when the parcel arrives.

How do you handle products that arrive damaged at the destination?

All our products leave our factory in perfect condition and are well-packaged. We are not responsible for loss or damage in transit. If damage occurs, please notify the delivering carrier immediately and file a claim. Report any damage to MAAMI HOME within 48 hours of receiving the order and send photographic evidence to info@maamihome.com.

How long is the product warranty?

We offer a 2-year warranty, provided the product is used and maintained under suitable conditions.

What is the status of my order? How do I track my order?

You will receive email updates on the status of your order until it is completed. At dispatch, we will provide a tracking code for use on the shipping company's website.

Do you offer trade conditions?

Yes, please contact our sales team and provide your company details. Our sales department will inform you of the terms.

When does the production of my order start?

Production begins once we have received and confirmed full payment for your order for smaller objects or 50% of the bigger items such as dining tables and sideboards.

Is there a need to open a trade account?

All accounts are registered once the first proforma is issued. Clients must provide valid company details, including billing name, billing address, and VAT number (company registration number or resale number).
